Respect Your Elders

Norvill Clark has been a part of the Civil Rights movement sense he was a kid in the 60’s in California. Now he lives in Richwood WV helping get farm fresh food to children that may not have anything to eat outside of school. Strap in for a history lesson in this episode of Shameless Self Promotion in Madam Tortuga’s lounge.

I met this man while he was advocating to the people of Richwood after a flood had destroyed parts of the town. It’s a long work you may never hear about. I was ranting about the political climate and how bad things were. He chuckled and told me this is nothing new. He then told me one of the many times he has stood against an unjust system for the sake of community.

This man got fired by Ronaled Ragan. That blows my mind. The names we hear in history books are people he knew. That’s why you should check out this month’s episode of Shameless Self Promotion on Madam Tortuga’s Lounge
