Journaling Exercise: Rewrite Your Bio

Hello my Dotlings!

I assume you are reading this to learn more about my favorite subject, me. More precisely, what am I doing? Well, I’m studying divination, creating an LGBT safe space, shadow work, and pulling my (cough) self together. Then I turn it all into content. That has probably left you with some questions.

Let’s take them one at a time:

1. Why divination?

When I was thirteen one of my dad’s friends gave me a bunch of tarot cards. About a decade and a half later my ex is dragging me to the bar far too much. It was boring so I started drawing my own deck and reading for beer. Then I kept forgetting the deck, so I would read palms. A few years and a divorce later I’m still learning different techniques and sharing what I find.

2. Are you LGBT?

Honey, I’m queer as a 3 dollar bill. My pronouns are “not late for dinner.” Okay really, She/Her, They/them. Although, I have been called a man with… I don’t know what to tell you.

3. What is Shadow work?

Shadow work is a spiritual development based on Carl Jung’s analogy of the subconscious. Don’t worry, I will tell you all about it. I’ll also share some of the journal exercises and meditations I’m doing.

4. Why would I follow someone that doesn’t have their self together?

Why would you follow someone that is pretending to? I’m just trying to live my best life and help others doing the same.

I am so grateful that I am doing what I love. Fortune telling came to me when I was thirteen, but magic has always been a part of my life. Both have allowed me to help people with all manner of spiritual concerns. This business gives me a way to share my love and assist others in figuring out their lives.
