Journaling Exercise: Go To Your Favorite Sitting Spot, Write a Description of It

One of my favorite spots is my patio. When I moved in with my roommate there was a concrete slab that, at one point, had a shed on it, but at the time was just a mess. I cleared it off and moved the furniture around.  I also found a bunch of bricks and blocks that I’ve put around it in a creative way.

There were also three of those big terracotta “blocks” that are hollow.  I put a rosemary plant that my brother helped me start in the center.   The other two have potatoes growing in them.  One of my other roommates has moved a bunch of other plants out there.  Some English Ivy has grown up around the outside edge and has to be pushed back.

There is a half-dead tree that may someday fall on the whole thing, but right now gives the whole thing a grove feel.

I love to shoot videos out there when the weather is nice.
